Bill Owen III family at his sudden death
Donation protected
To all of Bill's family, friends, colleagues and beyond...
I am Jan Webb, the aunt (auntie) of Bill and the identical twin sister of his mother Ann who has given me permission to create this fund raiser. A middle of the night call from the police department to Bill's younger brother Sean, informed him that Bill was suddenly found deceased in his home on June 1, 2023. Sean then had to awaken their mother to tell her that her oldest boy was gone.
His death is considered suspicious by the Palm Spring Police Department and is currently being investigated by their Investigative Unit. Bill's mother and younger brother Sean, are completely traumatized by this horrendous news and their hearts are beyond crushed at the death of their beloved Bill. I and all of our family are stunned and in utter disbelief that this, a possible murder, could happen in our family.
A brilliant life gone too soon.
I knew Bill all his life. Because his mother is my identical twin, my children and I are extremely close to him and his brother. He was a part of me. His was so talented, loving, funny and sweet and was an excellent cook. Bill traveled often and had many future plans he was looking forward to. He was an inspiration to all he met and especially those of us who watched as he cared for his mother. Bill was involved in the Palm Springs art community, was a proud volunteer at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and was hoping to adopt another Bulldog after his, Max, passed away.
Expenses are accruing as we move forward to take care of Bill's estate, including property, vehicles, cremation, and all the out of pocket end of life expenditures. Without a will in place, we will have to retain a probate lawyer.
I and the family would be be extremely appreciative and grateful if you could find it in your heart to donate to his fund and help with expenses as we get all of his final affairs in order. We also need your prayers in this difficult time.
Sincerely and thank you so much,
Auntie Jan

And how I wish I knew me better
Seen the sun shine brighter
