Dear Family and Friends that are Family,
On the early morning of Friday, 1/28, our dear Bill Noble suffered a massive stroke in his home while getting ready for work. Bill was rushed to St John's Hospital and admitted into the ICU stroke center. Doctors determined Bill suffered a significant stroke while sleeping. As a result of the stroke, Bill also had swelling in his brain and blood clots. The doctors determined they needed to operate by Saturday morning and removed a significant portion of Bill's skull to relieve the swelling. The skull part was placed in Bill's abdomen and will be replaced after doctors are satisfied the swelling has subsided. Bill was then put in a medically induced coma to rest for 24 hours. The next step is to replace his skull and begin the long road to healing.
As of now, we are informed the stroke has affected the entire left side of his body. Until the swelling subsides, we are standing by. Bill should be coming out of the medically induced coma sometime today, but this will be a marathon on the road to recovery, not a sprint. Bill is in good hands at St. Johns. If you know Bill, this is only a hiccup; he will be back to his great sense of humor and stubbornness in no time!
The Nobles, Ipachs, and Coles offer our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out to try and help Lacey, Bill and all of our families during this time. Until further notice, Lacey will take a leave of absence from her place of business thus, affecting her financially. If you would like to help, we ask that you please consider contributing to Bill's recovery fund. We have no idea what lies ahead or how long we have to go. Rest assured, the Nobles, Coles and Ipachs have circled the wagons, and with an army of friends that we consider family, we will get Bill through this.
