Bill has been a part of our family for over 5 years. He recently married Amy, our cousin/niece, and is a wonderful father to stepdaughter Audrey (9), son Liam (4) and daughter Ellie (2). He is so kind, loving, funny, selfless, and dedicated. We are blessed to have him a part of our family.
Unfortunately, he has been battling diabetes since he was young and had a family history of high blood pressure which contributed to his first bout of kidney disease over a decade ago. These health obstacles were the reason for his first double transplant of a pancreas and kidney in 2016.
After his health took a turn for the worse again this year, he now urgently needs a second kidney transplant. This has left his family facing both emotional and financial challenges. He was laid off earlier last year in this tough job market. Bill has been unable to find full-time work for over a year now, putting a big strain on his family's resources. Despite the circumstances, he obtained a part-time position which has put an additional toll on his health. He is now on leave from that job, unfortunately.
As they navigate these difficult times, we want to help support them through covering medical expenses, household bills, and alleviate the financial burden of everyday living. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in Bill's journey toward recovery and stability for himself, his wife, and kids.

Bill is AB type blood so he’s a universal recipient and can accept from anyone. The person donating, should they ever in the future need a kidney themselves one day, would get moved to the top of the list.
