My name is Miranda, a lot of you will probably know me as Randi.

If you know me, you most likely know Bill as well. He is a funny, goofy man who always had a spare part to lend. Even if he didn't know you. He spent most of his free time at the races helping out the families of the newer racers.

He is currently in the hospital due to pneumonia and total organ failure. He was put on a ventilation machine (it breathes for him) and an ECMO machine (it circulates his blood for him) to save his life. Thanks to countless doctors and nurses at Henry Ford Hospital, he is no longer on either machine!

The road to recovery is very long and will include months of inpatient rehab, once he is stable enough and gets discharged from the hospital.

As of today, October 3rd, Bill is still in the ICU.

As I am sure you all are aware, the house payment, and bills don’t stop coming just because you are sick. I/we are reaching out for help, my younger brother and I are unable to support him on our own
