Bill was able to come home Nov 10 from Nashville. He continues to go back weekly for follow-ups. He has been struggling, but still determine to get up and do small projects. He has a long road ahead of him and still recovering from the trial. Bill will be needing some radiation treatments done to his left arm. He hasn't been able to use it and they are hoping this will help. We are thankful for each day the Lord gives us. We are also thankful for each and everyone of you. Your prayers and thoughts continue to give us strength daily. Love and appreciate you all.

Much needed prayers for Bill. He will be seeing the orthopedic doctor this week to see what's causing his pain. He will also be starting a new trial in the next few weeks. He will be hospitalized for 14 days and will be closely monitored for 30 days after hospitalization. We will keep you all updated.

Bill is home and doing okay other than pain. We did meet with the specialist last Wednesday. Bill was removed from the study and will begin radiation treatments this Friday for a few weeks. They hope this will help with the pain and shrink some tumors. After radiation we are are not sure what to do next. He was given two options that will hopefully slow down the MM, a new study in Nashville or treatments here in Chattanooga. They want to slow down the MM until there is an opening for the approved CAR T Cell Therapy. Bill is on the wait list and they think a spot might open in October, but not sure. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Today hasn't been easy, but Monday isn't here yet. We are still hanging on and hoping we will hear better news soon. Bloodwork showed that the MM is still progressing, so they ordered multiple test tomorrow. We will find out Monday if he will continue the trial (cycle 2).

Bill received his second treatment last Wednesday and this week was a little tougher on him than the previous week. A few days of pain and fatigue. He did have some really good days and was able to go to the Farmers market and still take afternoon walks. He's resting up today, going to catch a movie and enjoy some popcorn . Tomorrow will be treatment number 3 and then we wait for one week and we will start getting some results and hopefully will continue with cycle 2. We sincerely thank all of you for your prayers, thoughts, generosity and support. It is an encouraging reminder that we are not alone. This is a hard road to travel and it's not easy, but knowing that God is with us and we are in your continuous thoughts and prayers it is what gives us the strength to keep going. The donations that have been coming in daily have been a blessing in so many ways. Thank you

Quick update: Bill was not given a treatment last week because his numbers (blood work) are showing that the MM is active. The treatment he was receiving was no longer working. They will be starting Bill on another trial that will use another person's T cells. The next two weeks he has to go through testing again and have a PICC line inserted. He will be off of work for the next 3 months while receiving treatments. We want to thank everyone that has been praying for Bill. We love and appreciate you all.
