We, the friends of Bill Hubbard, are hoping to raise money for his healthcare. Bill has been diagnosed with dementia and is in need of ongoing skilled care. We are raising money to help defer the cost of this huge burden on his family.
Bill is a friend to thousands. He started his career in the Army, and later joined the West Roxbury Post Office where he worked for 26 years. Bill has worked tirelessly to give back to the community by creating the Jason Roberts Challenger League. He started this baseball program 25 years ago for kids with special needs in memory of his nephew who was tragically killed by a drunk driver. Last but by no means least, he worked out of Area E Police Station as the Crossing Guard at the Lyndon School for 10 years.
