Hi everyone I own and operate Aragon AirVac Heating and Cooling LLC. I just went out and inspected Bill’s unit and he has a old R22 system with a compressor shorted to ground. Unfortunately the repairs are just not feasible and would be a Bandaid on a really old unit. I am going to work with Kim Steinwinder to get Bill a new unit at the lowest cost possible the cost of the unit and to pay my installers is around $6000 roughly. Kim is going to be setting up a go fund me account that I hope everyone can pitch in. If you can afford $5-10 dollars that would be great to help Bill be able to sleep in his own bed once again.
