Bill Deneen Family

Seven years ago, our friend Bill Deneen was diagnosed with cancer.  Since then he has undergone several surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments as the cancer has spread to several other tumors in his neck, lymph nodes and lungs.  He has been unable to work for the last several months.  Bill is currently hospitalized with pneumonia.  His beautiful wife, Katie, is an elementary teacher and has been able to juggle her job and caring for Bill thus far.  This fall, their youngest son Peter will be attending college at Michigan Tech and their daughter Abby will continue her nursing program at UW-Eau Claire. Throughout this difficult journey,  the Deneen's have continuously been involved in their school and church community as well as their extended community in Wisconsin, their home state. They have tremendous strength and humility, never wanting to ask for help.  However, we have an opportunity to give them the extra support they need at this time.

There are many ways that you can help!  First, your prayers.  Please pray for Bill and his recovery, for strength, for healing.   Pray for Katie, Abby and Peter as they continue to love and support each other along with the rest of their extended family.  


You can also help by making a financial contribution.  Money raised will help alleviate the burden of cancer treatment costs, travel to and from Mayo Clinic and other medical facilities, loss of wages and work time and anything else that is needed.
