Bill Arenz scholarship fund

It has been 1 year since we lost our beloved teacher and friend. In honor of his memory, his family has started a scholarship fund that will be awarded to a Port Charlotte High School senior, who has excelled in science. I thought that our alumni of Port Charlotte High and friends could add to the scholarship fund by donating here. The scholarship will be presented at the end of this school year in May of 2022.

Port Charlotte High School is honoring Mr. Arenz on October 8th at the Friday night football game. Everyone is asked to wear crazy socks as he did every day in class. The announcement and moment of silence will start at 7:15 p.m.

Mr. Arenz was very special to all of us. He was hands down one of our favorite teachers, who always had time for his students. He was unaware of his impact on our lives, as I've witnessed countless times, a past student thanking him years later, for his help and support.
