Hello, This is Jeff Hood. Bob Gassett and I recently spent three days with our old buddy Bill Anderson who is riddled with malignant tumors and not expected to live much longer. When we were with him he was able to carry on limited conversations, and eat some food. He was incontinent and needed care around the clock. He didn't appear to be in much pain, but the hospice nurse expected that to change dramatically very soon. He lives with his daughter Elizabeth and her family in Watsonville Ca. And his other daughter Augusta is there as his primary caregiver. She has had to quit working and regularly spends the night up caring for him. As you all know, Billy's life has been a roller coaster. He has never managed money well and quite frankly, they are running out of money for his care. They need professional help and can't afford to pay for it. So this is an invitation to those of us who love him to jump in and support our old friend as his life quickly winds down.
