Bildung ist der Schlüssel! Education is the key!

Hi, we are "Hoje-Heute e.V." a registered charity organization from Germany with the goal of supporting education in Angola.

Why Angola? Because my wife was born there and we have a solid local network.

The problem is worldwide: Too many kids with too little education cannot be the engine to develop a country. It leads to poverty and emigration. Girls become pregnant with 16 or 17 leading to a life in poverty and dependeny. We want to bring as many as possible kids into school and professional education. Actually, we support 8 orphan girls to stay at a boarding school of the sisters "Irmas de Amor de Deus" in Vila Nova do Seles, we pay the education of 8 young men to be male nurses at the "Instituto Técnico de Saude "Madre Isabel" in Chiulo and we pay the enrollment fees of 3 young men for their studies in medicin and telecomunication. Our statutes also allow us to be active in the area of health, so, whenever we have some money left we supply wheel chairs for the innumerable victims of land mines or polio. Please help us to guarantee continuity for our education initiative! Every cent goes directly to the Schools, Universities or Hospitals. The trips which are necessary to organise and control our activities in Angola are paid for privately, so any donated money goes 100% to the projects!
