Bilateral knee surgeries for Griff

Hello dog loving friends! This is Griff and he’s been in my life now for 2yrs as a walking client, those who know me know that my client dog’s are very much like my own on many levels and he’s no different! His family has suffered a tragic loss and many things are being worked out right now. A week and a half ago Griff had 2 surgical consults for knee repairs (both knees unfortunately need TPLO’s after months of being misdiagnosed by the first vet who saw him when signs of knee instability were first showing) things were moving forwards for surgery but Griffs family’s unexpected loss has put them in some financial hardship and the surgery is looking to be postponed. I know the family is trying to cope with a great loss of a wonderful human and will need time so I’m hoping to help out with the best way I know how and that’s dog stuff. Griff is a special sensitive 2.5yr old guy who still goes out with me but is limited on how much he can do so he’s not in horrible pain after our walk. I manage his activity well but know (as many of you who’ve had to do TPLO surgeries on your dog’s are well aware of!) the best thing is surgery sooner than later to get him healed and strong and comfortable again ❤️ I know myself and the family would be so very very appreciative of any donation to get this in the works, the plan is bilateral TPLO’s so it’ll be a rough recovery but more financially feesible than doing each knee at different times. We have a surgeon and an estimated cost of $7,000 total to get both his knees all fixed up and once it’s done then he’ll be good to go and being so young he’ll heal up fast! I’m looking forwards to him being able to run and play like he used to and looking forwards to sharing those videos and pics with all those who generously contribute to his surgery. Thanks in advance
