In 2020 Jenn who is a mom of2 a boy and a girl, start ed what she thought would be a life changing proce so. She started working out and losing weight.in total over 20 pounds and 20 inches, by early 2022 she started suffering from chronic shortness of breath while doing basic activities like cleaning and laundry she also had chronic nausea and vomiting that resulted in taking extended time off of work. Ongoing testing And worsening of symptoms led her to a diagnosis of decreased kidney function. She was diagnosed with kidney failure in November 2023. I am losing her dad only a week later in June 2024 history peritoneal dialysis I wasgoing Great and she was trying to get healthy so she could go on the transplant list in the summer 2024 she started suffering from increased swelling and pain in her feet, which would eventually cause her to not be able to walk. He was actually trying to see what’s going on her knees. I’m going down on the bottom. In October 2024 she was diagnosed with atherosclerosis,which is the thinning of the blood vessels in both feet. Which led me to put her first admission to hospital for two weeks to manage pain. Unfortunately, this did not last. Jenn was admitted to The University of Alberta Hospital in early December and underwent a double foot amputation a week after being admitted she is determined to regain her strength and get prosthetics so that she can go on living the best life she can with her kids.
