We are raising money to build a water well on behalf of Bilaad Sagal.

Bilaad Sagal was buried in London on 12th February 2025 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has returned to Allah and we have a chance to continue her legacy in the most meaningful way possible by providing clean, life sustaining water well to those in need.

In Islam, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that providing water is one of the greatest forms of Sadaqah Jariyah, charity that continues to benefit a person even after their passing. He said, “The best charity is giving water to drink”.

By building a well in Bilaad Sagal’s name, we ensure that her good deeds do not end with her life but continue to bring blessings to her soul for generations to come. As described in the Hadith, Muslim, “When a man dies, his good deed comes to an end, except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who will pray for him”.
