New Floors for Bikram Yoga Mesa

Bikram Yoga Mesa, owned and operated by Jon Knoche, is a hot yoga studio that has proudly been a part of the Mesa, AZ community for nearly six years. The current flooring in the studio is carpet, which served it's purpose as being a cost efficient solution for a new yoga studio, but we have been long overdue for an upgrade.

All funds raised will be used towards brand new vinyl composite floors throughout the lobby area and the yoga room (no more carpet anywhere!). We've done an extensive amount of research to come to the conclusion that COREtec Plus floors are the best selection for a hot yoga studio. Here are just a few of the reasons why:
- 100% waterproof
- Mold and mildew resistant (therefore less odor)
- No expansion/contraction with varying temperatures and humidity levels
- Easy to clean
- Extremely durable

The floors will be installed by a local company called Arizona Hardwood Floor Supply Inc. They have provided us with a quote of $9,893.86 which covers the cost of supply materials and labor to remove the carpet, prep the concrete underneath (grinding and leveling), and installation of the new floors, transitions and base shoes at perimeter walls. Our campaign goal is set to $10,755 to cover the full cost plus the 8% fee given to gofundme and their payment processor.
We would love to get them installed as soon as we can. These floors will be a beautiful addition to the studio and a vital component for Bikram Yoga Mesa to thrive in the Mesa, AZ yoga community by attracting new customers and retaining our current memberships. We cannot deny the fact that some people choose not to practice yoga at our studio because we have carpet. Although we pride ourselves in the cleanliness of the studio, we understand and agree that carpet is not ideal for our vision to grow the studio and be a part of this community for many more years to come.
This yoga studio is much more than just a business to us - it's the reason we are a family. Jon and I first met at the studio in 2011, developed an instant friendship, realized it was more than a friendship, and, long story short, gave birth to our daughter, Julia Rose, in 2014. It is our family's livelihood, so we are forever grateful to each and every donation (no matter how big or small) that contributes to its success. Thank you so much!
