Biking for Curt Felt
Donation protected
In 1978 Deputy Curt Felt was a young deputy for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office in Alexandria, MN. On June 29th he got called to transport a suspect to Otter Tail County jail after court. When Deputy Felt arrived, the suspect took a gun out of his belt and shot Curt who died a short time later at the hospital. Curt left his wife of six months, a father and mother and 7-year old twin brothers. I would like to bike in the Law Enforcement United "Road to Hope" in honor of Curt Felt and his family for the sacrifice they have made for our community. Our team will bike 250 miles in May, 2018. We will end our ride in Washington D.C. at the start of Police Week.
The money we raise will go to support the families of the fallen officers and to make sure their legacy is carried on.
