We’re cycling from London to Brighton on September 25th to celebrate the life of our dear friend Billy Hookway and raise money for some very worthy causes. Please support us!

Billy tragically lost his fight with cancer last year, leaving behind his wife and four young girls.

As some of Billy's closest mates we feel an obligation to him to help support Mariam and the girls.  One of the few ways we feel able to do so is financially. Many will not realise that Billy was unable to get life insurance due to a pre-existing health condition.  We want Mariam and the girls to have the resources they need to minimise any further challenge to their lives beyond trying to overcome the tragic loss of such a wonderful husband and father. 

We therefore ask you to join us, and help raise funds to try and cover essentials, such as child care, in order that Mariam can give due attention to the girl's individual needs, as well as her own, during this extremely difficult time.

As his many friends will attest, Billy was a wonderful person who loved a challenge. We have precious memories of the annual rides that we’d take on together. Incredibly just a few days before his diagnosis we were mountain biking across the South Downs with him. Ever the fighter, even during his treatment he was wanting to plan a cycle from London to Brighton. Sadly we didn’t get that chance. To mark his passing, and celebrate all that Billy represented, we would like to make this trip and raise as much as we can for such a good cause.
