Hello! I would like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to look at this fundraiser. My name is Gaz, and this year I will be cycling from Bradford to Benidorm, and I would love for you to join me on my journey in raising money and awareness for suicide and the impact it has.

On the 17th of September 2025, we tragically lost my brother Jamie after his long battle with mental health. Jamie was the most caring, outgoing, bubbly person. To anyone who didn't know him, it could have been easily assumed he was doing ok - after all, he was the light in every room. This wasn't the case, as it isn't for many other people out there. Suicide has such an impact on this world, and the grief is so difficult to navigate. The charity I am fundraising for is Survivors of Bereavement by suicide (SOBS), after experiencing the impact suicide has on loved ones, therapies and charities are a lifeline.

I will set off on Jamie's bike at the end of August in the hopes of making it to Benidorm on the 17th of September, which will mark exactly a year of navigating a life without my big brother and best friend. On my arrival, I intend to raise a glass for him in a place I know he loved; a place we shared special memories.

I know this is going to be a huge challenge for me, but with your support, I know I can do this and make Jamie proud. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be massively appreciated and will go directly to SOBS.
