BIKE JACKED! Help Nick get back on two wheels
Donación protegida
Hi friends of Nick. Today our mate Nick had the worst luck when his brand new Specialised SL8 Tarmac got nicked from under our noses outside The Clubhouse bike and coffee shop on the Putney embankment. After months of waiting for his new wheels Nick decided today was the day that he would test out his new baby around Richmond Park with his mates Rudi and Gregg. After getting a proper sweat on, we decided to head down to the river for a coffee and to soak up the sunshine. We were not 10m from the bikes Nick looking up at his new baby every 30 seconds or so. Some one must have been watching waiting for the moment, as Nick looked up from showing Rudi his new Rugby app on his phone he noticed his baby had been bike napped! Rudi and I jumped on our bikes and scoured the back streets of Putney but clearly the bike napper had a premeditated plan in place to stow Nick's beloved new bike away behind closed doors.
To make matters worse, whilst we were cycling round the park some idiot cut in front of him and he came off his bike, when I dropped him home he was holding his arm, and I just received this photo of his arm in a cast! Worst day ever.
