Last summer, I went to the Dominican Republic for three weeks. I had the opportunity to volunteer at a community center and teach some classes. Many of the students at the community center do not have formal schooling and rely on the center for their basic education.

This summer, I will be biking across America with my friend Lance. We want to attach some meaning to our trip by fundraising for the center in the DR. Please sponsor our trip; we will not use your donation to fund our trip, rather it will go straight to educational efforts in the Dominican Republic. Your donation will help support school expansion, teachers' pay, and purchasing of books and school materials.
