Bijou's Law - Pet Grooming Licensing Act - S182

Donation protected
As many of you already know, my dog Bijou died during what was supposed to be a routine dog grooming. When I took him in for his grooming appointment, Bijou was only six years old and in perfect health. Forty-five minutes later, the store manager called to tell me Bijou had died.
After much research into what happened to my dog and many, many, many others....I discovered that dog groomers are NOT LICENSED in any state in the US, contrary to what many people believe. I started "Bijou's Law" in 2012 and have introduced Bill S182 to the NJ State Legislature. If NJ passes "Bijou's Law" this would make NJ the first state in the US to require dog groomers to become state-licensed, making it easier for other states to follow. As you can imagine, promoting this information has been quite costly over the years, including web monitoring, marketing materials, travel, etc. If you would like to donate to the dissemination and education of "Bijou's Law" throughout the US, know that your donation is greatly appreciated and, hopefully, will make "Bijou's Law" realized in every state in aiding in the protection & safety of animals at the groomers. Thank you from the team behind "Bijou's Law." To read more about Bill S182, please log onto Bijouslaw.com.
