My name is Melissa Kinney.  Recently I began a new career path, one that has been a lifelong dream.   After, permanently 2 losing my job as a dispatcher March 31st do to the Covid 19 Pandemic.  I made huge life decision for my 9.5yr old son and self after raising him on my own as a single parent.  I sent my son to another province to live with his Dad moved into motel room rehomed our Dog , my best friend of nearly 4yrs.  On Sept 8th I began taking the 12 week Class 1 Internship Program with TransCanada College in Moncton NB.  After successfully completing the 4wks classroom training and SNB permit and Airbrake testing, and approximately 20hrs of in simulator and in truck training I was informed the school still had not been fully paid.  I have paid out of pocket $3450 of the $10450, EI PELT TSD program will pay $4000.  The remainder $3050 was to come from a RRSP through a company id work for 10yrs ago.  Unfortunately when i began a call center position with Sears Canada It was combined with the one through Sears and due to their bankruptcy I no longer have access to these funds.  

Currently I need find $3050 in funds to be able to complete my training and Class 1 Road test.  I have until January 31st, 2020 to pay this remainder Tuition.  Today I was informed that someone will assist me with $1000 of that and I can pay $550 pay out of Pocket.  I am reaching out to Drivers Companies applying for Jobs and have exhausted all other options I can think of or have been advised of.  Please if you are able to co tribute any amount or even share this with everyone you know I will be forever grateful and in time be able to pay it forward.
