Biggie Needs Surgery

Biggie needs a crucial surgery.

His life story is layered. He is a street cat who was cared for by dedicated individuals for over 8 years. He was one amongst many cats in his neighborhood and TNR practices helped get the population under control. Many cats were trapped, neutered, and released. The health of t
he cats improved remarkably across our neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Biggie, however, was not easy to catch. Failed efforts by NYC agencies left him with a very badly broken leg and shattered trust.

After 9 months of dedicated time Biggie began to get close to us again. Fast forward to today: we have been able to trap Biggie and get him care he urgently needed for so long.

Biggie has been unable to bath himself because of the pain he lives with. He could no longer open his eyes. A veterinarian shaved off his crusted hair masses, washed out his eyes and ears as well as trimmed his nails. He has received antibiotics/dewormers that will continue to improve his ailments.

The next step is CRUCIAL to his well being. His broken front leg is so badly mangled and has so much nerve damage he is in endless pain unless it is amputated.

While the idea of an amputation sounds as scary as it does it would ensure Biggie would continue his life without extreme pain.

We are raising money to help Biggie get some justice as well as a life of health and well-being. 

When the city tried to catch him and failed they left him to die a long slow death.

Well... nah.... we won’t let him be disrespected that way.

We have already made sure he is no longer suffering out in the street. With your help we can guarantee Biggie lives WITHOUT pain.



We are asking for $3,600 to cover Biggies surgery and post surgery care. Any amount extra we raise will be sent directly to Beastly Rescue www.beastlyrescue.org a non profit rescue in New York City dedicated to responsible placement of homeless pets. We foster dogs for Beastly and know first hand the incredible work they do.
