Hi my name is Mike and I am trying to help my friend Steven Streufert, the sole proprietor of Bigfoot Books, a little bookshop in rural Willow Creek CA. On Sept 1 He pretty much lost everything but his life in a fire that consumed his shop. His life was saved by a passing California Highway Patrolman who saw the smoke.

Steven has been there forever, and besides selling books, he has researched the famous Bigfoot film strip filmed in nearby Bluff Creek in 1967. He and some friends located the exact filming spot, and made it accessible to others. They have also set up numerous trail cams in case Bigfoot ever comes back.
