In September 2020; I was diagnosed with Kidney Disease / Pancreas and learned I need a kidney and pancreas transplant. In March 2021; I was fortunate enough to be placed on the National Transplant List.
I know some of you may not have known this; but I have been living with my condition for the last year. Over time the function of my kidney and pancreas has progressively gotten worse and for a person in my condition; these transplants can increase my chances of living a longer, healthier life and keep me from losing any limbs and eyesight. My doctor is strongly advocating for me to receive these transplants as soon as possible because he does not want to see me go on dialysis.
While I wait for the call from the Transplant Center; I have chosen to focus on those things I can control. These transplants are extremely expensive and I really need your support during this time in my life! I am asking you to help me raise money to cover the expenses my insurance will not cover. Any donations you can make; large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
