Big Term is Still Fighting

Hello there. My name is Layla and I am fundraising for my dear friends.

Have you ever met someone along life’s path and you just knew they were your people? That for some reason you were supposed to meet them, that somehow, they were special. That’s Daniel Ryan Middleton.

Just a kind, happy go lucky 6’5” teddy bear that would bend over backwards for a friend in need.

His path has not been an easy one and his trials and tribulations many, but those things have driven Dan to do better, try harder and give back. So many times, being a symbol of greatness. Mentoring teens, offering a true perspective of the bad side of life, and all round just trying to make the world a better place.

Dedicated to his family, Dan has never overcome the grief of losing his mother Stephanie. The loss has followed him through his days and nights and left a shadow over all he has strived for. Even with that pain of loss in his soul, he has pushed forward to make a solid life for himself and his partner, Angie. From touring the country with a much-acclaimed Canadian Rapper, to working tirelessly on the pipeline, Dan has never stopped trying to be the man he knew he could be.

Sadly, sometimes life gets in the way of our goals. It is often said in life that the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Sometimes the fall is so great, it takes more than one to lift them back up.

Your help is being asked for now.

Our protector, friend, son and uncle to many, Dan (Big Term) needs help.

Dan is currently in the hospital on life support. He is looking at a long and costly recovery, and they, Dan, and Angie, are going to need help.

It was when I saw pictures of his precarious situation and realized that this situation was even bigger than the man himself that I decided to create this page. I hope we as a community can ease some of the pressure so that recovery can be the focus.

That we, the friends, loved ones and even casual acquaintances can help cover some of the basic costs of life while our friend is in need.

I am asking everyone to reach into their hearts and pockets and help us to cover his rent, car payments and basic life expenses at this time.

All monies received will go directly to Angie so she may ensure that Dan's needs and expenses are taken care of.
