Hi, my name is Albie. I have been doing judo since I was four years old (I'm 10 now!).

As soon as I stepped onto the mat, I fell in love with the sport and it is now such a huge part of my life. I train 3-4 times per week at the Judo Company in Stockbridge, and spend most of my weekends competing around England.

My biggest dream in life is to one day represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games.

I know that's a REALLY BIG dream, and I know that there is a LOT of hard work ahead of me, but I am more determined than ever, and am incredibly lucky to have parents, family, coaches and even Olympian Judoka that believe in me and support me.

Through previous fundraising and sponsorships, I have already been incredibly lucky to have some amazing experiences in Judo. In June this year I travelled to Netherlands to compete at the Venray International Judo Tournament. I came home with a silver medal after finishing 2nd out of 21 competitors in my category!

But, as I get older and continue to progress in judo, there are more and more opportunities for me to compete at bigger competitions, in the UK and internationally, as well as elite training camps where I can learn from and train alongside some of the most talented judoka.

Unfortunately, these opportunities come at a cost, often too great a cost for regular families such as mine to afford.

Competition entries, travel, accommodation and training camps can quickly add up, particularly when competing overseas. My family do everything they can to support me, but I don't want the cost of these opportunities to be the thing that limits how far I can go.

That's why we've created this GoFundMe.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards helping me access the competitions, training and experiences that will allow me to keep developing and challenging myself.

I hope that one day, with your help, I'll be stepping onto the Olympic mat with GBR on my back.
