Big Prayers for Big Roy!
Matthew 11:28-30 states:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Galatians 6:2 states
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
As you all know, our dearly beloved brother, Roy Rivera is enduring a lot of medical procedures to battle this awful disease we call cancer.
I call upon the Lord to request that we as brothers and sisters of Christ come together to help the Rivera’s with continued treatment and medical expenses that should arise for the future care of our brother, Roy.
Roy and Lisa have made a heavy impact in my life where I was faced with a storm three years ago. Not only have they touched my life, but they have continued to touch many lives of others by giving them hope and healing.
They are the ambassadors of Christ who will continue to do good works for the Lord no matter what the circumstances may be for them which takes me to the scriptures of Galatians 6:2.
As a community of Faith and as we continue to embody our Lord Jesus Christ, let us come together to carry the Rivera’s burdens by donating to our dearly beloved brother, Roy’s continued treatment and medical expenses.
