Big Pig FIP Treatment
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
One of my favorite sweeties at work has been diagnosed with suspected FIP. He is coming back in for bloodwork tomorrow, but with his current status, reoccurring fever, and loss of two pounds in one month... it is the most likely diagnosis.
There is a promising drug out there that just might be the cure for it... I don't believe in miracles, but I do believe in data, and science, and the proof is in the pudding here! If you haven't heard of them before, check out the FIP Warriors FB group:

The before and after photos are amazing! Since the drug is not commercially available in the US right now, we do not have the funding to treat him as an organization. I will have to privately fund raise to get him treated. We have a lovely dedicated foster named Allie who will be taking care of him through his treatment. If he ends up not having FIP or if the drugs do not work, any extra money funded will go towards treating the next kitty we get who has FIP.
I have lost so many cats over the years to this horrible disease. I have personally hospice fostered many myself. I do not want to lose this one, too.
