As many of you know on August 9, 2019, my brother Gabe Aldrete was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitt Lymphoma. This is a rare type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is a highly aggressive type of B-cell lymphoma that often starts and involves body parts other than lymph nodes. Because Gabe is considered high risk, doctors began an intense chemo regimen. They are confident this chemo therapy will CURE his cancer and we are encouraged with his continued progress. That being said, my brother is not the kind of person to ask for any help. But my heart is telling me to start this fund to help Gabe and his family with out-of-pocket medical expenses that exist because of this very unexpected diagnosis. Let's help lessen the financial burden of this sweet, kind, and generous family that is loved by so many.
