Hi all.
With the C-19 pandemic lockdown and ongoing precautions to prevent infection and loss of life, lots of business’ and livelihoods are under real hardship and threat.
BIG is a small local business that provides a great resource for gamers from all over Bristol, the Southwest and even further afield to gather and play a huge variety of games and really is a vital hub for gaming in the area.
As a small business that’s totally dependent on gamers coming through the door this period will have a massive impact on the business, and the harsh truth is that without the support of the gaming community BIG in its current guise is going to find it very difficult to survive for the next month.
After discussing it with some other BIG regulars and asking Jim and Ellen if it was ok, I’ve decided to launch this fundraiser to help cover the costs of keeping the business alive during the lockdown period.
What I’d like to ask you all is to think about a sum of money you would feel comfortable donating that might match what you would have spent on gaming during this likely 4 week lockdown period.
Hopefully things will be back to normal within 4 weeks, if not we might ask for some more help. I appreciate personally that for many of us it’s a bit of a tricky time and please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
