It is with deep sadness that we inform you about the passing of one of our greatest, Roosevelt Long.

 

Mr. Long passed on Saturday, January 22, 2022, due to health complications. Mr. Long was a valued member of CUSD for over 20 years and played an important role in shaping the lives of many of our CUSD students. He was not only CUSD security, but a coach, mentor, father figure, and a friend to many of our staff members, students, and parents. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.

 

Mr. Long leaves behind a wife and five children. We are starting this GoFundMe page to help his family with this unexpected and untimely loss. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and no donation is too small. We are asking that you help out in honor of a man who gave so much of himself to others.
