Help Big Jim and Family

Have you ever had that one friend in life that would give you the shirt off their back, if that is what you needed? The one that would see they had 10 cents left to their name and if you needed that 10 cents, they would give it to you without question? I have a friend like that, her name is Lisa. She could be having the worse day of her life, but would never allow you to see that, would only smile and her smile makes you feel better. If she had five dollars in her pocket and you needed four, she would give you the five. Lisa got those traits from her Dad.

“Big Jim” Boinski is the guy that all people want to be around. He is charming, witty, funny and full of light. If you know Jim, you know that he loves movies, working on them, being in them, knowing about them, and even making them. He passed this onto his children as well. Lisa and Jimmy are like movie experts because of their Dad.

In June, Jim was diagnosed with stage four cancer. In the last six months he has fought the hardest fight of his life. Through all of this, Connie (Mrs. Boinski), Lisa, Jimmy, Billy, Mariza have done nothing but help him fight and remained positive. There was no talk of the end because this family was not looking for the end but for him to get better.

On Christmas Day of 2016, Jim was taken to the hospital because he was not feeling well. He has remained in the hospital since and just this week was taken into Hospice care. While Jim was fighting the fight of his life, he could not work. This has put a huge financial strain on his family.

All of this is happening at warp speed and the family is pulling together to figure out schedules to make sure that they are there with him in his last moments. He has been visited by friends and family and although he is not responding he is listening. Lisa says, “he knows you all are there. That is just how he would want it.”

I am starting this fund for this family for medical expenses during Jim’s stay in hospice and for his funeral expenses. Any donation will help and know that if the tables were turned Jim would give his last dollar to help someone he knew in the same situation. If you cannot donate, please keep this whole family in your hearts and in your prayers and your blessings are worth more than you know.

Thank from the bottom of my heart for helping this family. I know they are beyond grateful for all the prayers, love and support we all bring to them during this time.

With Love,

Irene
