Big Jim and Nadine Ferraro are two of the kindest, most giving people I have ever known. Now it's our turn, as a community,to live up to their message of kindness and unity. As many of you know Jim was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this winter. While I know Jim will beat the cancer, it doesn't mean that it won't be an emotional and financial trying time for them. Jim will be out of work for at least 6 months. With many trips to the doctor and hospital Nadine will have less time to focus on her business. If you don't know the Ferraros, Jim is fun loving hard working blue collar guy, that has always made sure his family had everything they needed. Nadine spends half her time as a small business owner, a business with a message about peace, kindness and community. The other half as a philanthropist, committing more hours than a day has. Volunteering, promoting and propelling community organizations and projects. This is why we as brothers and sisters need to step up and offer a little help through this trying time. Please if you can't afford to donate don't, they wouldn't want anyone to put themselves out for them. Just simply share with others to get the message out. We need them to know we hear and live their message. Thanks for listening and helping out.
