Hi Everyone,
My name is Brandon Hodges, the owner operator of BIG Hodge Trucking LLC. I am a professional CLASS A Truck Driver born and raised in Middlesex County New Jersey.
During this pandemic with everyone being laid-off from work abruptly, I realized the trucking industry was still in motion. Nor did my company, BIG Hodge Trucking. I empathized with many after hearing how people were not able to provide for their families. This only solidified my idea that I had for years, and that is to teach others on how to acquire their CDL CLASS A/B/C.
I aim to dedicate myself in helping others to achieve getting their CDL. You can either start a new career path or have something to fallback on. br />
My goal is to provide jobs along with safety and knowledge to the community. Our youth will not only be exposed to this opportunity, but this will lay the foundation for entrepreneurship that can become a legacy for generations to come. I have recognized the gap in job placements, and those who need a second chance in life to jump start a new career. Big Hodge Trucking will provide the knowledge, tools and ins & out of the trucking industry. Last, but not least, we PRIDE ourselves on safety, especially in this line of business safe driving is our top priority.
I have a 10-speed manual Volvo Sleeper with a 53’ft trailer. In addition, I have a classroom environment to teach all students. Lastly, we also have a truck yard to practice where all trainees will learn parking, pre & post trip, inspections, and more.
Now, my proposal, the funds donated will aid to expedite this project in acquiring permits for city codes, inspections, remodeling, and administration. I also plan on purchasing a Day Cab Tractor for when it comes time for road tests. Due to high demand having two trucks will be beneficial to the training course. Not to mention receiving an INCREASE of those who are interested in taking my course.
