Friends of Bruce,

With heavy heart, I share sad news. Bruce passed away on November 9. Our sympathy goes out to his family. Bruce had a huge heart, one of the reasons he and his wife fostered kids. About 12 years ago, at 60 years of age, they started a second family, adopting a group of (very young) siblings, before they were split up in the foster system. Bruce genuinely cared for everyone he met, including customers, which created a wide circle of friends.

An avid drag race fan, engine dude, and all around good guy, Bruce spent the last 14 years with Engine and Performance Warehouse, as an outside sales person covering Northern CA, OR, and WA. Tracy, in Anchorage, notes "...miss talking to him about early drag racing in California, especially the one where Bruce helps Garlits change a clutch in a hotel parking lot in Fremont CA.... which he told every year and it never got old :)"

As you might expect, costs associated with burial, near term loss of income, and unplanned expenses have created some financial challenge for the family. If you are able to help, please consider a donation.
