Big Gay Disney Wedding

My name is Brittaney and after thirteen years of dating me and my girlfriend Danielle are finally getting married! Neither of us make a lot of money, but we want to celebrate our bond and our future in a way that is unique to us. We started planning our dream wedding in March of 2017 and we refuse to cut corners. We want the wedding of our dreams, even if that means having to wait another five years. I work two full time jobs and carry a degree, and my fiance is working as well. But in today's economy it just doesn't seem to be enough.

I'm willing to keep fighting the good fight and saving penny after penny as I'm able, but a friend suggested I give gofundme a shot to hopefully make our wedding days come to us a little bit faster. The money will go straight into my wedding savings account and won't be touched until I'm using it to foot the bill of our wedding bliss. Together we've managed to save enough money for my dress and shoes, and the food, but we still have a lot to go.

Danielle proposed to me on our first vacation together as a couple, just us, no family or parents or friends. We were at Disneyland, a place she swore we'd never be able to afford to see. But we saved and saved and after a year we managed to pull the funds together. She popped the question two days before my birthday at the Blue Bayou, under the glowing lanterns by the water. It was beautiful.

Now, to push the Disney theme and continue to make our dreams come true, we're planning to have our wedding in Disneyworld! That's where the expense comes in. The minimum price for a wedding at Disneyworld is 12,000 and that doesn't include things like the dress and airfare. Right now I'm budgeting for everything that isn't included in that big 12 grand, but any help I can get would be amazing.

Thank you, I can never express how grateful I will be to anyone who donates even a dollar. It's something, and even little somethings stack up. Please help us make our dream come true.

Now, I'll give you guys some history about me and Danielle. We met in middle school in despicably hot Las Vegas, Nevada. At first we hated each other, I was studious, she wasn't, it aggrivated me that we ended up in a group project together. Harry Potter is what brought us together. She tought me about anime I taught her about Lord of the Rings, we fell in nerdy, geeky, gay love. Fast forward to junior year of high school and my parents are moving the family across the country to Kentucky. Neither of us are out of the closet at this point and we are absolutely devastated.

Despite a lot of naysayers, we made it work. We were long distance until I graduated college in 2012, that January with the help of a friend I made a great pilgramage across the United States to be with her. A year later I came out to not all that much fanfare, we moved out of her parents place in 2016 and struck out on our own. We're still giant nerds that spend most of our free time knitting with our poodle and watching anime, playing video games or tabletopping or whatever else strikes our fancy.

We don't have a lot in terms of wealth (obviously) but we make it work, and hopefully given time, we can make this wedding work too.
