We are thrilled to announce an exciting new project from Alternative Folk musician Luca Firth: the creation of a collaborative visual piece to accompany his upcoming album, "Big Eagle, Hunting in the Wind." Luca Firth is known for his innovative DIY approach to music creation, and this project promises to be an ambitious and exciting follow-up to his debut release, A Year of Grace, which has amassed over a million streams worldwide.

About Luca Firth:

Luca Firth is a talented folk musician whose music transcends genre boundaries. With unique blends of guitars, makeshift percussion instruments, heartfelt vocals, and cryptic storytelling, Luca has captivated audiences around the world. His upcoming album, "Big Eagle, Hunting in the Wind," is a collection of deeply personal songs that explore themes of growth, care, and the self, all revolving around the nurturing of relationships.

About Our Filmmakers:

Flynn Matthews and Billy Brown are two talented filmmakers emerging out of London. They are Goldsmiths’ and Brit School alumni respectively. Their approach of zero-budget filmmaking, working with friends and telling heartfelt stories has created a close community of individuals who care immensely about the process of creating beautiful films. They have been affiliated with Summit Entertainment, Scott Free Productions, Black Dog Films, and have been heavily involved in projects for Oscar-winning production company Slick Films. In the music world, they have recently created a music video with Marshall Records, for band King Nun, currently on a European Tour.

From their short film Midpoint, actor/director Flynn Matthews has become an ambassador for mental health charities Stem4, who used the film in their official Movember Campaign, and The Mix, who raved glowingly about the short.

Eloise Roitman, of Gaze Productions, is a veteran in both the indie and major studio film worlds. Eloise has been producing and directing from a young age. Whilst in education, she directed multiple sold out theatre shows at Edinburgh Fringe and she produced/directed/filmed and edited feature film “Sticky Toffee Pudding” which had a very successful festival circuit run. Since Bristol University, Eloise went on to found her own female-led independent production company “Gaze Productions;” a company committed to creating cinematic narratives that embody the everyday. Alongside her Independant work, Eloise is climbing the producer ladder. Hopping from blockbuster to blockbuster, Eloise has been working alongside some of Hollywood’s greatest filmmakers and production companies like Universal, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The Vision:

For Luca Firth, music has always been a visual experience. That's why he's teaming up with a talented group of filmmakers, visual artists, and creative professionals to produce a visual album that will bring his music to life in a whole new way. Each song on "Big Eagle, Hunting in the Wind" will be accompanied by individual music videos and short films that will piece together to become a feature experience.

The film will be a vignette piece, which will tell stories of care and growth in relationships from multiple perspectives.

In order to ensure this project is as creatively pure as we dream it to be, we are aiming to complete it totally independently. Therefore, we need your support to make this project a reality.
