Big Dog's Backyard Ultra World Championship 2023

On the Saturday 21st of October 2023, a small town called Bell Buckle in Tennessee is hosting Big Dog’s Backyard Ultra World Championships, where champions from around the world in this sport will compete against each other. The best against the best!

On the 8th June 2021 after a tiresome 81 hours at the Suffolk Backyard Ultra in Knettishall Heath, with the help of my crew and assist (2nd place runner) Matthew Blackburn I broke the UK, European and world records. Unfortunately because of covid restrictions with travel to the US I was unable to go and defend the world championship title.

Since then I have worked hard to keep the UK record and have requalified for the world championships, but to get there I really need your help.

Flights to America, accommodation, car hire and camping equipment hire is expensive. I really want to go and give this my best shot and I hope you’ll choose to support me no matter how big or small a donation, it is grateful and appreciated. Any money not used will be donated to charity.
