Big Den’s recovery fundraiser

Some of you may already know that my father has suffered from a perforated large intestine, which lead to a massive internal infection and had to undergo a major surgery to fix it. The surgery, although traumatic, was successful and the road to recovery has begun!

All of you already know that my dad is a fighter and when the surgeon said  she didn’t know if he would make it through the surgery, those were the scariest words my family and I have ever heard but we all knew there was no way that he was going out like  that! And with a little help from our friends and family we’re hoping he can focus on what’s most important: getting better.

Due to the severity of the procedure my dad will need some time to adjust and fully recover. Unfortunately this will  require him to be away from work for quite some time. He will also require special medical equipment at his home to aid with the full recovery.

It’s never easy asking for, or accepting help, but my dad has always been there for us all and I know this will mean the world to him and my mom to have the love and support from all of you! Even a thoughtful text or message to him would surely brighten his day! 

I honestly cannot find the words to show my gratitude towards everyone, so I’ll just say thank you!
