Big Chris needs some help!
Chris has had a rough few months. He's not really been well since the start of Covid. The last he worked was the little bit of snow we had in February. He was starting to have trouble breathing around that time. Come June 6th he finally caved and went into the ER for shortness of breath and leg swelling. He was admitted to the hospital for a 4 day stay. It was at this time he found out he has a bad heart. The left side of his heart is not pumping as it should to bring the fluid back up to circulate, this resulted in a leg ulcer that he still goes to the wound clinic weekly for.
Another finding at this visit was a diagnosis of Small Cell Lung Cancer. He was set to get his Port and start treatments on 8/10.
On Sunday 8/8 he woke with severe abdominal pain that sent him back to the ER. This time for emergency Hernia Surgery and another hospital stay that continues today. Unfortunately this will delay the cancer treatments that he needs to get started on ASAP. Small Cell Lung cancer is the most aggressive type of lung cancer and without treatment.. life expectancy is 6 months.
While home between these 2 visits his truck broke down and he cannot repair due to the hernia surgery. His hope is to obtain funds to payoff his debts and to get the truck repaired so he has his own way to get to treatments and the would clinic.
Your donation is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all and hug often and tell those you love that you love them.
