Hi! Beth Gadbois here. I am a Board member at River Arts in Morrisville. I have volunteered to raise money for the following programs that were previously funded with grants. Sadly, the grants did not materialize this year and we are left with no funding for these special pre-school aged activities. I am reaching out to all of you in hopes you would be willing to help sponsor them so we can continue providing art and movement to these small adorable humans. Our goal is to fund two sessions that are 12 weeks each. It wraps up with the conclusion of the public school calendar.
Every dollar gets us to our goal so no donation is too small, nor too big! If you or your company would like to be a lead sponsor, we would love to talk further about sponsorship opportunities.
Thanks! Beth
Move & Groove: every Wednesday from 9-10am, taught by Anna Adler
Every Wednesday, River Arts offers an onsite toddler class called "Move & Groove," a weekly free, drop-in class for the littlest members of our community, ages 0-5. These young artists dance and enjoy songs, rhythm games, instrument play, and exploration. This class has become a favorite of the River Arts' community and fills the space with a morning of music-making and community building, promoting music literacy and brain development.
"Programs like Move and Groove are a highlight of our week. My 3-year-old daughter loves making music, dancing and developing her rhythm surrounded by new friends. It was so great to connect with other carers and watch the kids having so much fun together. Looking forward to more River Arts fun next year!" ~ 2024 Move and Groove parent
Big & Messy: every Wednesday from 10-11am, taught by a variety of teaching artists, Big & Messy is an innovative exploratory arts program that brings weekly process-based arts education to children 5 and younger. The program is all about creating and learning using a wide variety of art media including clay, painting, crafting, and building. The focus on process allows for ultimate freedom of expression and exploration. The children who participate in this program learn fine motor, problem-solving, and practical social skills in a group setting.
Parents love that these two classes are back to back. Typically 8-15 families drop in each week including an at-home daycare that takes the community bus! :)
It's the most adorable thing ever.
