Bibles for the Damara community in Namibia

Its my first time using a GoFundMe. I’m turning 60 and instead of giving me something, help me to give bibles to a group of Namibians. When I was recently in Namibia I took services for the workers in the lodges we visited. These lodges were mostly community owned and run by the people from the Damara conservancies. They asked me for Damara bibles. I want to raise USD 2 000 to buy all the bibles I will need. The KHOEKHOEGOWAB bibles are available through the Namibian Bible Society.

If you don’t know me, I’m a priest originally from Namibia but now working in Sweden. I have a deep love for my home country and its people. Faith is important to me as it is to them. But for many the cost of bibles is prohibitive. So as I celebrate my life on my 60th birthday, I want to share life with those who have so much less than I do.
