This year, I was contacted by Pastor Isaac from Kenya, who shared an urgent need in his community. New churches are being established in areas where several tribes speak the Ekegusii language, but there is a shortage of Bibles for these congregations. Many people are eager to learn and grow in their faith, but without Bibles in their own language, it’s difficult for them to fully participate and understand the teachings being shared.

Having access to Bibles in Ekegusii will do so much more than provide reading material—it will educate, inspire, and help build strong, faith-filled communities. The pastors are doing their best to share scriptures, but the people long to have their own Bibles to read, study, and cherish. This simple gift can change lives and hearts in some very difficult places, giving hope and encouragement where it’s needed most.

For my birthday, I’m inviting friends, family, and anyone who feels moved to help me reach my goal. Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing Bibles from The Bible Society of Kenya and getting them into the hands of Pastor Isaac for distribution.
