If you know me, you know what my passion is. There’s a place in this world for everyone, a place where your insides just “click” and you know that you were meant to be there. This place for me is Italy. I have devoted my entire education to Italian Studies. Now, after much preparation and prayer, it’s time for me to take that next step: in Montebelluna, a beautiful village an hour just outside of Venice, at Calvary Chapel Bible College Italy (
http://ccbcitaly.com/en/). Even though my heart knows this is the next step, I’ve run into one roadblock: I need $4500 by February 2017.
If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re a friend, an acquaintance, or someone who is just curious about why I’m raising money to go to Italy. If you fall into one of these categories, I want you to know that my purpose in Italy is to serve. Serve the Italian people, serve God, and serve the local church. I am uniquely positioned to do this with my education and expertise in the Italian language. However, I know that while I am serving others, God will work in my heart to change me for the better.
So I have chosen to trust; trust that God will bring to life all the dreams I have in this little heart of mine, in which He will equip me to do His work in the place that I truly call “home.”
So what’s the $4500 for? It’s a portion of the total cost that includes my tuition, weekly food allowance, rent payment, airfare, and more. I’m saving to meet this goal as well as to pay for monthly expenses I’ll have by working full time, doing odd jobs, and just saving, saving, saving.
If you want to help, a donation – nothing is too small – would mean the world to me. If you’re not in a place to donate, prayer – that God would provide and prepare the way for me – would help me out tremendously.
With love and much blessings,
