Dear family, friends and community members,
Bianca Vitale at the age of 8, has been selected by TEAM CANADA DANCE to represent Canada on the world stage in the children’s division in the Jazz, Ballet and Modern categories. The best dancers from around the world will be competing for the World Champion Title in Poland this coming November! Dance is not recognized in Canada as a sporting event even though many of the dancers train up to 7 days per week, are as flexible as gymnasts, as graceful as figure skaters and as dedicated as any other Olympic athlete. Bianca will be dedicating most of her summer to train for this event along the best dancers in the country and learn from the best choreographers and teachers. She is required to raise funds to help cover all costs associated with travel, rehearsal, coaches, Team Canada apparel, accommodations and competition fees.
Bianca has been dancing since the age of 3 and dancing competitively since age 5. Over these past years, her team’s as well as her solo entries have received a number of overall awards at provincial dance competitions. Bianca is 1 out of 25 dancers in the country selected to represent Canada at the world level from hundreds of entries.
We are currently looking for sponsors and donors to help support her participation at the World Dance Championship in Poland and are reaching out for your contribution and support.
