Study Abroad in Cortona, Italy
Donation protected
This summer will be my last as a Georgia Bulldog and I aspire to take full advantage of the opportunities this University has given me. I am glad to share the news that I have been awarded the chance to broaden my horizons as I submerge myself into the Italian culture for two months through UGA’s summer study abroad program in Cortona, Italy.
I plan to enroll in 9 credit hours of coursework and am excited to study the process of printmaking, book arts, and the history of Renaissance art. I will continue my studies overseas and will reach my credit hours in order to graduate Spring 2019.
I am so elated that I was chosen to be a student of this program. I have maintained a GPA above 3.5 that has awarded me the Georgia HOPE Scholarship, which will cover my full tuition abroad. I have full-time student status at UGA and work two part time jobs to help contribute all that I can. I have been fortunate to receive a $500 scholarship from the city of Cortona, which asks of me to work during my duration abroad.
It humbles me to ask for any contribution towards my pursuit of travels. Any donation of any size is greatly appreciated and I thank you for your help in allowing me to pursue my dreams and expand my academic experience at the University of Georgia. These expenses will go towards the program cost, airfare, transportation within the country, and admission fess. I will be documenting my days in Italy and sharing my experiences.
Thank you so much for your time.
