My beautiful sister Bianca recently saved a life and was about to receive an award from the Gwinnett County Fire Department. Now, she is fighting for her own life in the ICU.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, Bianca suffered continuous seizures, which led to her being placed on a ventilator and admitted to the ICU. As of today, March 11, she is no longer having seizures, but she remains in intensive care, still on a ventilator. The doctors have yet to determine the cause, and we don’t know when she will be discharged. However, she is fighting strong and is responsive when we speak to her, even though she cannot directly communicate with us.

Due to this unexpected turn of events, I am setting up this GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses and other bills. With Bianca unable to work and my part-time job not enough to cover everything we managed together, any support would mean the world to us. No amount is too small, and we appreciate any help during this difficult time.

Mi hermosa hermana Bianca salvó una vida recientemente y estaba a punto de recibir un premio del Departamento de Bomberos del Condado de Gwinnett. Ahora, ella está luchando por su propia vida en la UCI.

El viernes 7 de marzo de 2025, Bianca sufrió convulsiones continuas, lo que llevó a que la conectaran a un ventilador y fuera ingresada en cuidados intensivos.

Al día de hoy, 11 de marzo, ya no tiene convulsiones, pero sigue en cuidados intensivos y aún necesita el ventilador. Los médicos aún no han podido determinar la causa y no sabemos cuándo podrá ser dada de alta. Sin embargo, ella sigue luchando con fuerza y responde cuando le hablamos, aunque no puede comunicarse directamente con nosotros.

Debido a esta situación inesperada, estoy organizando este GoFundMe para ayudar a cubrir sus gastos médicos y otras cuentas. Con Bianca sin poder trabajar y mi trabajo a medio tiempo sin ser suficiente para cubrir todo lo que antes pagábamos juntas, cualquier apoyo significaría el mundo para nosotras. No hay cantidad pequeña, y agradecemos cualquier ayuda en este momento tan difícil.
