Hello, my name is Josiah Quiroz, and I am asking for your help and support.
I am continuing my career and schooling down in Irvine as well as following my love for wrestling. I will be a graduate assistant wrestling coach while going for my MBA. I want to focus as much time for both my sport and schooling to be the best with each area for wrestling and school.
As I was a student athlete that became a college coach it has changed my life in the best way ever. As I competed at the JUCO Bakersfield College and helped coached the first BC women's program there, continued my wrestling career at D2 NCAA William Jewell College until the men's program was shut down, following to help Jewells women's program until I graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration emphasis on finance ans Bachelors in Accounting.
I came back home with my degrees and experience coaching at a high level college, hoping to help out my home town College women's program, which didn't happen for the head coach didn't want my help or experience. With that in search for work and to follow my passion, I found a greater opportunity that I'd never thought was possible for me. As I discovered the Graduate Assistant wrestling coach postion for Westcliff University, where I can coach and get my masters as well. I was in disbelief and reachout to the school about the position. For my coaching experience in college and the degrees I earned I was chosen and picked for the postion.
This was a blessing in disguise, and im very thankful for the amazing opportunity, and with your help and support I would be able to sustain to help keep my focus on elevating my academics and coaching knowledge/experience to make my future even greater where ever I'm needed or go.
I want to raising money to help while I am down in Irvine. With the school expenses I will incur and the possibility of me not getting a job right away due to the market , will be what the money will be going towards. Towards helping me stay above water while I figure my situation in the beginning of the journey at Westcliff University in Irvine.
For all I want to do is help and make the sport better, and making a better life for those around me and myself. This will be a hard journey, but I am thankful to have the opportunity to go though it with the hope of opening doors or opportunity to anyone that wants to make themselves better in wrestling or in anyway I can help. Thank you for the love and support. I greatly appreciate it.
