This is Bhuwan, he just turned 18. He lives in Bhaktapur, Nepal. He is going to school for hotel management. His school was damaged as was most other schools in the region. A generation of Nepali will struggle to find an education that most of us take for granted. Notice the intricately carved wood and brick building in back ground, these building have stood for hundreds of years. Many are gone. The Nepali people have lost enough. Brick by brick we can help them rebuild.

This is what is left of his house after the devastating earthquake. The factory in which his father worked was destroyed. He has a little brother that sells ice cream to tourist, he is also safe. His mother was in their family home when the earthquake came but luckily she was able to get out. I put her picture on the front. The look of shock on her face, not knowing where her kids were, her husband. Few of us, will ever experience what is going through her head. Bhuwan's family is in pure survival mode!!! WATER & FOOD!!!!!!!!
Bhuwan lives in one of the most magical and beautiful places, I have ever seen. He was my tour guide last year, and over the past year, we have become friends. ( Always good to practice English ). It is uncertain how much has been destroyed. The people there can't even focus on that yet.

My goal is to help rebuild Bhuwan's home, make it safe for his family and his little brother & future generations, and insure that Bhuwan's dream of going to college can still come true. With all my heart, I would be so grateful.
